Dear Fabi,

Thank you for being one of my best friends. I cannot imagine my life without you. Thank you for being the funnest person I know. I admire you so much and I love you with all my heart. You are one of those friends that will be around until we get really old. I can picture us as old ladies chattting away while sipping on wine and tea…  Thank you for being my rock, my counselor, my sister from another mother and my partner in crime.

I met you twenty-one years ago as we were both coming to the U.S. You won my heart from the first day we met. Your energy was so contagious. You made my life in the U.S. so much easier. Thank you for always being a friend, for hosting parties at your house and for always bringing people together. I was so sad when you moved to Canada but that did not affect our relationship. In fact, I think it strengthened it. Thank you for the long talks, for all the advice and for always making me smile. Being around you brings me so much joy and happiness. Thank you for having me over twice. I love being with you and your family. Thank you for taking time to show me around Montreal and for taking me to a ski resort to ski. I loved it! I cannot wait to do it again and again.

Thank you for coming all the way from Canada to my wedding last year. No words can describe how grateful I was to have you by my side. My deepest gratitude to you for always being there for me these past years. My life is so much better because you are in it. You are a true friend and one I am grateful for every single day.
