Dear Marcia,
How can I even start thanking you for all that you have been and done in my life? First of all, thank you for being the mother of one of the friends I love the most in this life, Frank. Had it not been for your son we would not have met. Thank you for being such a good friend and, many times, a mother to me. You have taught me so much and I am beyond grateful.
Thank you for your positive energy, your beautiful smile, your words of encouragement and support. Thank you for always being there to listen, to teach, to preach. Thank you for acting like a mother to me and sometimes a sister. You are one of those amazing gifts life has given me. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and for being so honest with me. Thank you for loving me even though we agree to disagree on certain things. I am so grateful to have you in my life and to be able to call you at any time when I need advice or simply someone to listen to me. Thank you for all your support throughout these years and for loving me for who I truly am.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being by my side when I needed most. Thank you for making me see my worth when sometimes I lose sight of it. Thank you for being you and for allowing me to be a part of your life. I love you and I am proud to call you my friend.
