A gratitude letter for Ana Paula Rosa…

Ninha,

Thank you for being my wonderful friend of over 22 years. Wow! We met at Americel back in 1997 when Brazil was privatizing the cell phone system. It was a historical time and we were a part of a historical moment and company. In all this, I met you. It is funny that we were literally next door neigbors but we only met each other at work. It was meant to be! From the moment we met, we knew we would be great friends.

Thank you for your friendship. You are one of the most creative people I know. Thank you for all the fun times we had together. Thank you for driving all the way to Asa Norte to pick me up to go out since I did not know how to drive. We were inseparable and every moment we had together was always wonderful. We partied together, we laughed, we cried, we grew up. We saw each other through ups and downs. You helped me with my wedding dress on my first wedding. Had it not been for you, I would not have had a perfect dress. Thank you for always being there.

Even though we are far away from each other, our relationship is strong. Thank you for always making time to be with me when I am in Brazil. Thank you for making your house my house. Last time I stayed there we had so much quality time together. I was in Heaven. Thank you for being that friend who is always ready to help, to listen and to give a hand when needed. On the flip side, thank you for being that friend I know I will always have fun and I will always be able to talk to about anything.

You are an incredible artist and I am your number one fan. I admire your talent and your drive to do amazing things. Thank you for being such an amazing woman and for being an inspiration. Thank you for being my friend. I am honored to have you in my life.

With all my love and gratitude,

Simone
