A gratitude letter for James Madison…
Dear James,
Thank you for always making me feel beautiful. You have been cutting my hair for tweleve years and in all these years we have become friends. I love seeing you and ejoy the time we share together. I always leave your salon feeling happy, energized, confident and empowered. Thank you for being so talented, down to earth, funny, smart, authentic, cool and such a great friend.
In these twelve years you have shared so much wisdom with me and I have learned a lot from you. Thank you for always listening and for always knowing exactly what to say and what advice to give. I feel like when I go to have a hair cut I am, in fact, going to a great therapy session. Aside from the great conversation you are the best at cutting hair. I have never been this happy with my hair! I used to think I had bad hair until I met you. Somehow you found a way to make all the looks you try on me work. Thank you for your expertise and talent. You are the best!
Thank you for being in my life and for being an inspiration. You are such a hard worker and you have so much integrity and authenticity. You are an amazing dad and I love when we share stories about our kids. I am deeply grateful to have you in my life and I hope we have many more years of fun together.
