A gratitude letter for Ronaldo…
Dear Ronaldo,
Thank you for being in my life and for being one of the people I love the most. You are a dear friend and you have a special place in my heart. It is crazy that we worked together in Brasilia back in 1997 and then met again here in Atlanta in 2008. Such a small world! Since we met we became best of friends. I admire you as a person, as a friend and as a father. You are kind, honest, compassionate, funny, fun to be around and extremely smart. I love talking to you!
Thank you for supporting me through these years and through two divorces. You have seen me at my highet and at my lowest. You have helped me so much in so many ways that I do not have enough words to express my gratitude. Thank you for making yourself present, for taking the time to visit, for calling to check on me and for simply being you. We have shared so much of our lives and we have learned so much together. The respect we have for each other is incredible and I feel extremely lucky to be a part of your circle of friends.
Life is incredible. Of all the places in the world we ended up meeting here. It was meant to be. Thank you for being almost family to me. Thanks for being someone I trust, respect and love. I hope our friendship continues growing and I hope we continue learning from each other. I am certain we will.
