Dear Dennis,

It has been a long time since we do not talk or see each other. I have so many thank yous to say to you. Thank you for hiring me into one of the best job I have ever had in my life. Heather Baldino referred me to you and I am so grateful you hired me back in 2004 to be your assistant at Cartoon Network. What an amazing ride that was. Thank you for giving me a chance and for teaching me so much. I will be forever grateful for the experiences and for the great partnership and friendship we had.

When I started at Cartoon Network I was just leaving the IT world. I was still learning the American culture and the corporate dynamic. I do not think I could have asked for a better boss. You were patient, kind, and very trusting. When I started working for you I could not say your last name… Gosh, what a difficult name! I guess my learning started right there.

Thank you for giving me so many opportunities inside the marketing department. Thank you for allowing me to observe and help my colleagues and for letting me start the multicultural marketing initiative along with Mindy. I cannot thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to travel and observe what the competition was doing. Thank you for trying to grow me in ways I did not understand back then. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for treating me with so much respect and so much care.

I am beyond grateful for the time we shared together. We were great partners and I believe we did great work together. You will forever be the boss I will always remember. I know we have not spoken in years but you are always on my mind and I am always grateful for all the opportunities you gave me. I am always here rooting for you and your family.

I hope we get to see each other soon so I can thank you in person.
